Terms Of Sale

Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Lifestyle Camper Trailers Pty Ltd (ABN  64 119 005 604) t/as Lifestyle Campers (“Lifestyle Campers”), the Purchaser agrees that it will be bound by these terms and conditions if the Purchaser places an order with Lifestyle Campers and the order is accepted.

Quotation, Order and Price

  • Where a written quotation has been given by Lifestyle Campers, the Tax Invoice Total is the purchase Price specified in the quotation. All prices are in AUD currency. All quotes are valid for 14 days from date of issue or date of expiry if specified, whichever is shorter.
  • Prices provided by way of a quotation, or a price list are subject to change to the prices in effect at the time of delivery. Lifestyle Campers reserves the right to make any corrections to prices quoted due to cost increase, clerical errors, or errors of emission, in the event of any specific requirements (including without limitation any design, specification, order quantity, component and labour costs, or shipping changes) representing a price increase, buyers will be notified and afforded an opportunity to confirm their order.
  • The Purchaser can accept the quotation by placing an Order with Lifestyle Campers, and once that order has been accepted by Lifestyle Campers, the Purchaser agrees that it will be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Upon the acceptance of the Order and returning a signed copy of your quote, the Purchaser must pay an order fee of 10% of the total quotation sum to secure an estimated production date. For individually configured orders, this payment is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Changes to an already accepted Order must be made prior to the Red Date (the date at which Lifestyle Campers processes the Order into production and purchasing of components is initiated), which will be specified on the Order Confirmation. NOTE: the lead time between the Red Date and the commencement of Production will vary model-by-model.
  • The Purchaser will be advised of the estimated delivery date on acceptance of an order. Lifestyle Camper will use its best endeavours to meet the estimated delivery date and will notify the Purchaser of any changes in the delivery date. Lifestyle Campers are not liable to compensate the Purchaser for any costs or damages claimed by the Purchaser as a result of the delay in delivery of the Order.

Payment and Charges

  • The Purchaser must pay the balance of the purchase price, less the order fee, for the Product by one of the following methods and can be paid in a one-off transaction or in regular instalments:
    1. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
    2. Credit Card (plus 2% surcharge Visa or Master Card only accepted)
    3. Cash or Bank Cheque (only by prior arrangement please). No personal cheques accepted
  • We will request payment in full is received no later than 1 week before production is estimated to be completed to ensure a smooth delivery process. Following payment, production will be finalised, and final Quality Assurance checks completed before a delivery date will be scheduled from LCT HQ.
  • Payment in full, must be confirmed by Lifestyle Campers’ bank as cleared funds on or before the payment due date regardless of the payment method.
  • EFT Details are as follows (also shown on invoice):
    • Account Name: Lifestyle Camper Trailers P/L
    • BSB: 034-076
    • Account Number: 390 354
    • Reference: Quotation Number and Surname (Eg. 1234 Smith)
  • If the Purchaser fails to make final payment on-time, or fails to collect the Product from Lifestyle Campers premises within ten (10) business days of notification, Lifestyle Campers reserves the right to either charge the Purchaser:
    1. a reasonable storage charge; and
    2. interest on the unpaid purchase price, daily, at a rate equivalent to 5% above the base lending rate of Reserve Bank of Australia at the time; (These additional charges must be paid up to and including the date on which the Purchaser collects the Product),
    3. Or, at the Dealer Managers discretion, Lifestyle Campers shall consider the order as abandoned and on sell the product to recover funds and retain the 10% order fee paid

Insurance and Registration

  • Product registration is not provided unless stated on the Order.
  • Lifestyle Campers is unable to organise registration in any other state other than QLD. Interstate Purchasers can organise an unregistered vehicle permit from the relevant State transport authorities.
  • It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to organise Product insurance.

Collection, Delivery and Freight

  • All Products will be delivered Ex Lifestyle Camper Trailers Showroom, unless freight has been specifically noted on the invoice and order confirmation.
  • Prior to collection, Purchaser must ensure that a Brake Controller and Anderson Plug are fitted to the tow vehicle. Ask us if you require these to be fitted and we can provide a quotation.
  • If the Purchaser requires the Product to be transported and specifically requests Lifestyle Campers to do so, Lifestyle Campers will arrange freight and in so doing acts purely as the agent of the Purchaser (from the time at which the Product is collected and departs the Lifestyle Campers Showroom, insurance is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser).

Risk and Title

  • Ownership of the Products shall not pass to the Purchaser until it has paid the Price in full, but the risk in the Products shall be borne by the Purchaser from the date of the shipping from Lifestyle Camper Trailers.

Inspection and Acceptance

  • The Purchaser must inspect the Product during collection or immediately following delivery (as the case may be) to determine whether the Product and any item or items included are in short supply, defective or damaged.
  • Within 7 days of Collection or Delivery of the Products, the Purchaser must notify Lifestyle Campers in writing of any shortages or any defects or damage readily apparent on a reasonable inspection.
  • If the Purchaser does not notify Lifestyle Campers of the claim within 14 days of delivery or collection, to the extent permitted by law, the Products are deemed to have been accepted by the Purchaser.
  • In the event of the Products being defective or damaged, refer to Lifestyle Campers’ Warranty Terms and Conditions document.

Warranty

  • Lifestyle Campers warrants that all parts of its manufacture or assembly of the Products are free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is in addition to any non-excludable statutory warranty or guarantee that may be implied by Australian Consumer Law.
  • Where there is an alleged warranty issue, the Purchaser must obtain the advice and approval of Lifestyle Campers prior to carrying out any repairs. Other Terms

  • If any provision of these terms or conditions is unenforceable, illegal or void, that provision is severed, and the other provisions remain in force.
  • Lifestyle Campers may amend or vary these terms and conditions by notifying the Purchaser in writing of the amendment or variation.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Delivery and Handover

  • Once final payment has been received and manufacturing has completed, Lifestyle Campers will arrange a delivery date with the Purchaser to perform the final handover quality inspections and pre-delivery preparation.
  • If freight is required from Lifestyle Campers HQ the approximate working days from collection to the confirmed delivery destination will be advised. Freight and the delivery timelines are out of Lifestyle Campers control.
  • A handover date and time will be booked with you where we will provide training and information on your unit. Please be punctual to your hand-over as we may have multiple handovers scheduled for the day.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer (you) to have the trailer insured prior to pick-up (personal collection or freight).
  • Lifestyle Campers has a registered Motor Dealers Licence (Licence number 3694977and 2605193) in QLD, as such we can arrange to have your Camper registered in your name ready for when you collect your unit. If this is not specifically shown in your quotation it has not been included. If you require us to register your unit ready for handover, please ensure it has been listed on the quotation. If you would like to register your trailer in a business name, please ensure we have quoted you for this and not personal registration.
